Corpus Christi Education Foundation  $       4,002.00 Learning gardens at 6 CCISD elementary schools
Education Service Center-Region 2  $       4,002.00 Funds to support the Early Scholars Academy summer day camp
South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind  $       2,000.00 To purchase two computers and monitors along with two-year licensing agreements for magnification (Zoomtext) and screen-reading (Job Access With Speech) software to train the visually impaired to perform computer-related adminishative tasks.
The Ark  $       4,500.00 Funds to support the clothing and hygiene needs of sheltered children who are abused and neglected.
United Way of the Coastal Bend  $       3,500.00 Provide 1500+ students with the back to school basics, which consist of crayons, pencils, notebook paper, glue, rulers,
ballpoint pens, pocket folders and school scissors
YWCA  $       2,996.00 Funding to support an underwater aquatic ellipitical trainer for the therapeutic recreation program
Joe A. Gonzalez Education is Our Freedom GED Scholarship Program  $       5,000.00 Funds to support scholarship for GED and high school graduates, the majority who are classified as high risk and who are predominantly from low social economic households.
Dress for Success Corpus Christi  $       5,000.00 Funds to create an "NEC Basic Essentials" closet to provide adequate undergarments, hose, and toiletries to women who are referred by local agencies with a need, whether financial or coming out of a family situation or out of the welfare system.
Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Community Center  $       2,500.00 Funds to support the renovation and expansion of a computer lab room for use by community elementary students in an impoverished area of Corpus Christi .
The Rise School of Corpus Christi  $       7,500.00 Funding to provide scholarships to families who cannot afford tuition to the school that welcomes children with developmental delays to mainstream with their typically developing peers.
Communities In Schools  $       2,500.00 Funding to support a summer trade program at Craft Training Center for at-risk middle school students. 
Boys & Girls Club of Harlingen  $       2,500.00 Funding to support the "Power Hour" program to provide special tutoring services for at risk children including professional instruction, educational enrichment, reading support, and educational contests in reading, writing and speaking.
Children's Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend  $       3,500.00 Funding to support the "Strengthening Families" 6-week workshop for families whose children have either been severely physically abused or have been sexually abused. The program teaches about steps that can be taken to prevent, recognize, and reacte responsibly to child sexual abuse and includes information on the case process through Child Protective Services and the District Attorney's office and what to expect in testifying in court.
Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation  $       2,500.00 Funding to provide breast prosthetic and mastectomy bras to women who have survived breast cancer and undergone single or double mastectomies.
Good Samaritan Rescue Mission  $       2,500.00 Funding to purchase food for homeless shelter diner.
Corpus Christi Hope House  $       2,500.00 Funding to support an emergency shelter project for women and children in need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Bend  $       2,500.00 Funding for the "Share a Night" program which provides financial assistance to low-income families who turn to RMHC for housing when in Corpus Christi securing treatment for a critically ill child.
South Texas Literacy Coalition  $       2,500.00 Funding to support the South Texas Reading Initiative designed to reach underserved children and families with new free books and promote the importance of literacy skills to achieve academic and life success.
Coastal Bend Community Foundation  $    10,000.00 Matching funds for community donations to local charities through the Coastal Bend Day of Giving.
Brush Country CASA  $       8,326.00 Funding to support the training and development of volunteers who advocate the best interests of children who are before the court asa result of abuse or neglect as defined by the State Child Welfare Laws.
Corpus Christi Pregnancy Resource Center  $       3,000.00 Funding to support a resource center to educate women on fetal development, alternatives, and provide information about emotional and physical support through counseling, parenting classes,  and STD/STI health risks.
Charlie's Place Recovery Center  $       3,000.00 Funding to support matching fund requirement for a grant from the Texas Dept. of State Health Services to provide case management and rehabilitative services for individuals diagnosed as being alcohol/drug abusers or chemically addicted.
CHRISTUS Spohn Foundation  $       7,500.00 Funding to support the CareVan mobile services to provide preventative care and influenza vaccines to those struggling with finances and the underserved.
Fannie Bluntzer Nason Renewal Center  $       3,000.00 Funding to support the development of the Spirit Center, a community retreat center to support the needs of area youth programs and area organizations who require the periodic use of such a facility.
Harbor Playhouse  $       2,500.00 Funds to support the "Young People's Theatre Camp Scholarships" for children in the Pathways Foster Care program and others in need of financial assistance.
Montessori School of Corpus Christi  $       3,000.00 Funding to develop a gardening program and support environmental awareness and education at the School.
Refuge of Hope  $       1,674.00 Funds to support the Earn While You Learn parenting program  which provides one-on-one mentoring and parenting classes for mothers with children under 1 2 years of age and for new mothers to be.
YMCA of the Coastal Bend  $       3,000.00 Funding to support the YMCA Vertical Learning Program which provides educational tutoring and youth and government leadership opportunities for children in low-income neighborhoods of Corpus Christi.
